An important feature of cloud applications is location-independent access with practically any end device. Even conzept 16 applications can now be used in this way without having to use a terminal server with an RDP client.

A browser that can display HTML5 content is sufficient on the end device. This works with all current browsers, whether Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Safari or others. Neither a special browser plugin nor Java Script or similar is required. It also works independently of the end device and its operating system – Windows, Linux, iOS, Android etc. are all possible. This means that tablets or smartphones can also access the application directly.
The conzept 16 application is called up via a standard URL, which first displays the user login and then the application interface. The conzept 16 client runs on a Windows server in conjunction with a special service that translates the input and output of the Windows interface into HTML5 and sends it to the browser. By running the conzept 16 client and database server on the same system, excellent application performance can be achieved, better than in some local networks.
For data exchange with local applications, files can be uploaded to and downloaded from the server via the browser.
We offer you the option of running your existing conzept 16 application as a browser application to test cloud operation. All you need is an HTML5-capable browser, whether on a desktop, notepad or smartphone.
To get to know us, simply send us a copy of your database together with a typical user account via FTP. We will set up your database so that it can be used in our cloud via a browser.
