Extension of the vectorsoft web service

In the blog post Webservice for license management we have already introduced the vectorsoft web service. All information about a license, which can be viewed via the vectorsoft Customer Center, can be automatically retrieved via this service.

The functional scope of the web service has now been expanded. In addition to information about a license, the service now also provides billing data.

Software maintenance calculations for a conzept 16 license

All invoices for software maintenance invoiced to date can be called up for each license. The data is provided in chronological order and contains information such as price and maintenance period.

Data for an invoice

The web service provides access to all invoices issued within the last 10 years. If it is a software maintenance invoice, the response from the service contains data such as the invoice date and invoice amount, as well as the licenses listed in the invoice.
Conclusion
By accessing the data via a web service, the processing of incoming invoices can be fully automated. The manual processing of invoices on paper is no longer necessary. Especially in the case of maintenance invoices with a large number of license items, checking and entering invoices is not only time-consuming but also prone to errors.
