Following the introduction of the Modern Theme Style with conzept 16 version 5.8.06, the development environment now also has a design based on Modern Theme Style.
The enhancements in the development environment have already been presented in the blog articles The new procedure editor and Development environment in the new design.
Another frequently requested innovation concerns the menu items for data set, BLOb, user and resource management stored in the Designer: the development tools previously blocked the development environment. In the new version, these are executed as independent processes and are therefore decoupled from the IDE. Furthermore, the extensions are also accessible via the conzept 16 program group in the Windows start menu, which is created during the installation of conzept 16.
Aktuell befindet sich die neue Version in der Testphase. It is expected to be released on the 19th of February.
