Workshop-Modern-UI

MWindows 10 is now becoming more and more established as a platform in the commercial sector. In response to customer requests, we began integrating interface elements of the Windows 10-typical “Modern User Interface” into the conzept 16 development environment at the beginning of the year. In other words, to give an application developed with conzept 16 the current Windows-typical “look and feel”.

Last Thursday, active conzept 16 developers met at our premises to find out about the current status and exchange experiences during a workshop.

At the beginning of the event, the CEO of vectorsoft AG, Edwin E. Heinecke, welcomed the numerous participants to the workshop. He then handed over to the first speaker, Andrej Mücke, who outlined the most important points of future developments. This was followed by an introduction to Modern UI by the developers Mr. Schmidt and Mr. Cramer. After the introduction, the developers Mr. Di Biase and Mr. Dudenhöffer deepened the implementation of the “Modern Themes” in conzept 16.

After the lunch break, Mr. Sworowski presented the last part of the “Modern Themes” including the upcoming implementation in Designer. Mr. Cramer then presented the new editor and its functionalities. Afterwards, vectorsoft Head of Development Andrej Mücke gave an overview of the key points of “conzept 16 in the cloud”. A discussion about further questions and suggestions rounded off the informative event.
