The most obvious change from Windows 8 onwards is the new design of the user interface. While the design under Windows Vista / Windows 7 was characterized by eye-catching visual features, such as transparent window frames or three-dimensional icons with almost photorealistic representation, the current design language Modern UI (modern user interface) is characterized by a flat design.
An app developed for Modern UI automatically presents itself in the new look. This is not the case with desktop applications, however. Here, the developers of the application must ensure an appropriate visual design. Of course, this also applies to conzept 16 applications. From the upcoming release, conzept 16 developers will have a solution at their disposal that allows them to switch to the look and feel of Modern UI.
We will present the extensions in detail in the next blog post.
